Book Eco Hotels independently verifies sustainability data for the hospitality sector. Every claim on our platform is validated through our multi-route verification framework – not self-reported, not assumed.
BEH Verified multi-route verification framework:
Tier 1 (Certified Status): Verification of third-party credentials (e.g. EarthCheck, LEED, Green Key) via direct synchronisation with official public registries. Quarterly checks ensure active credential continuity and prevent lapsed status.
Tier 2 (Documented Status): Data validated via two complementary pathways. Route A (Contextual Layer) uses independent sources – NGO reports, satellite telemetry, regional indices – to confirm infrastructure and practices are independently observable. Route B (Evidence Layer) verifies primary evidence submitted by the property – utility bills, payroll records, procurement receipts, operational logs. A single verified claim via either route constitutes a valid BEH Verified output, mapped against the GSTC 4-Pillar framework as an organisational structure.

Get Verified: Your Sustainability Receipt
With new EU laws (ECGT) starting in September 2026, every “green claim” must be backed by independent proof. We provide that proof so you don’t have to worry about greenwashing fines.
Our service is free for hotels. We are funded by the booking platforms and organisations that need accurate data to show their customers.
Tier 1: For Certified Hotels 
If you already have certifications (like EarthCheck, LEED, or Green Key), we act as a digital safety net.
What we do: We check the official databases every three months to make sure your certificate is still active.
The Benefit: This keeps your “Active” status live and correct on booking sites, so it never expires by mistake.
Tier 2: For Hotels with Their Own Data 
If you don’t have a certification but want to prove your impact, we check your raw data for you.
What we do: Once a year, our team reviews your actual records – like utility bills and waste logs.
The Benefit: We turn those receipts into a “Verified Impact Dossier.” This is the professional evidence you need to show regulators and platforms that your data is real.
